The idea for this tour came from our customers. Several people came on the cooking tour regretted not bringing their sister, friend, or husband but didn't think they would enjoy the cooking classes. So we decided that during those classes we would offer outdoor activities for the adventurer. The benefits of this close knit relationship is that we also get to eat the fabulous food prepared by the cooking students.
Hike some of the higher more scenic trails of the Cinque Terre. These trails are lightly traveled and go through vineyards, farms, and tiny communities most with a sea view. When the weather permits go fishing on Captain Fabio's boat or just cruise the area and snorkel in the clear waters of the marine park in the Mediterranean sea. After our adventure activities join back up with the other tour members for gourmet meals, wine tastings, village tours and special meals at local restaurants.
You'll meet our friends like Manuel, an artist who was born here, Gianni who owns the best restaurant in town, and Kate who has lived here for 17 years. She goes mushroom hunting with her Italian husband and son, knows everybody in the village, hikes all the trails and speaks Italian like a local.
Accommodations are in a charming bed and breakfast only steps from the sea. Staying here allows you to experience the local lifestyle. Lick a late night gelato while strolling the moonlit boardwalk overlooking the sea. Grab an early morning coffee with the locals or find a bench in the park and enjoy la dolce vita (the sweet life).
