We started this business a few years ago in order to create trips that would really give our guests the insiders view of the places we love. We believe that traveling is about having fun and making friends so we keep it informal and friendly. We love food and we enjoy cooking but we really find that the conversation, friendships, wine, and gelato end up being more important than perfecting your culinary skills.

Bob and Lori are real foodies. They live half the year in Europe making new friends and finding experiences for our guests. In the winter they call Dallas Texas home. Lori went to culinary school and through these tours found a way to share her love of food and travel. Bob is an avid photographer and documents their trips with thousands of photos each year

Imagine a local trattoria where the chef not only invites you into the kitchen but shows you how to make his special dishes. Imagine learning to make fresh breads from one of the most famous bakers in Provence. Imagine spending a morning at a famous spa where you relax in an ancient grotto followed by a massage. Imagine strolling through the Greek ruins in the Valley of the Temples in Sicily.

Our tours are about discovering these wonderful locations in a personal way. Locals and friends help open the door to the best foods, places and experiences because they have spent a lifetime getting to know and appreciate the place they call home.
